The Horse & Groom is situated a short drive away from the heritage beaches of Southwold, Walberswick, Dunwich and Lowestoft. There’s also a Wildlife Park just a few miles up the A12 in Kessingland.
Families are welcome, and there’s plenty of space to enjoy in garden to the rear. There are is substantial parking. There’s a pool table and a darts board for those who like a sporting challenge.
Meet the Team
The Horse and Groom is managed by Michael and Dawn Beck, together with our daughter, Amy. Having run a successful local business for over 25 years, we became landlords of The Horse and Groom in December 2006.
Since then, the pub has been decorated and refurbished whilst retaining its original Suffolk character. We’re proud of our good reputation for serving well-kept beer and a selection of fresh, home-cooked food.
